Wayfarer's Reverie : Need Luxon to complete? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm working my way through Wayfarer's Reverie: Cantha, but I have seem to come to a point where I'm stuck in the quest.

I need to go to Rhea's Crater, but I haven't worked on Luxon faction yet. Is there any way to complete the portion of the quest line without having Luxon faction? So far I have not read of a way to explore my way to the area without the Luxon quest line that gets you to the Leviathan Pits.

As far as I know, you'll need to have completed at least Befriending the Luxons. If you've completed the campaign on the Kurzick side AND finished Befriending the Luxons, you can leave from Harvest Temple, run to the entrance to Unwaking Luxon and speak to the Gatekeeper for entrance to the outpost. From Unwaking Luxon you can then run to open the nearest outposts to Rhea's Crater to finish the Wayfarer.

In addition, while trying to quest for that rep, make sure you grab the priest blessing on the way into jade sea zones. It helps some.

You forgot 1 important thing , and this works both ways.
You need to have a higher amount of that sides faction than the other - the usual crap.
Eg , done kurz side but not lux side , make sure you have higher lux rep ,leave unwaking as above and you can gain access to lux side.
Same trick is used when farming lux sins - more kurz rep means u die at start and rez at a diff shrine nr the lux sins.

If you want to use their res shrine, you can just bride them for the use of their shrine for just a small amount of gold.

If you have not done the Befriending the Luxons quest yet, and need to get there quickly, I would suggest doing Jade Quarry for the rep. Open up both the Kurzick and the Luxon outposts for Jade Quarry, then play for whichever side has the least amount of bots on that given day.

Assuming you currently have zero Luxon faction it should only take you 3 wins (or 2 wins and a good loss) in order to get the faction that you need, and each match is typically only a few minutes long.

It doesn't matter which side you play for since both sides only give you Imperial faction for wins/losses, then you convert that imperial faction into Luxon faction.

Honestly, this is just short of infuriating. I spent about 9+ hours running around getting the other quests done, and then got stonewalled in the last three steps of the final quest because of this.
